Issue
- User cannot import .LAR files due to missing references:
Environment
- Liferay Portal 6.2
- Liferay DXP 7.0
- Liferay DXP 7.1
- Liferay DXP 7.2
- Liferay DXP 7.3
Resolution
- In order to import a .LAR file that uses metadata from multiple sites, the list of data displayed after the initial loading of the original .LAR has to be imported first.
- Navigate in your system to the site that contains the required data: "Site-Name" --> Publication --> Export, if the file is available then import it to the new system and please retest the import for the original .LAR file.
- In case the above indications cannot bring you further, please contact the Customer Support team.
