Issue
When searching, content from "sites to which the user searching does not belong" will also be displayed..
You can also download documents & media files from sites you don't belong to.
Is it possible to set "Only sites that belong to" search results to be displayed?.
Environment
DXP 7.0, DXP 7.1, DXP 7.2
Resolution
All content for which you have View permission will be searched, even if you are not a member of the site.
The following methods are possible.
Method 1. When you upload a new document, set the viewable setting to "Site Members".
Method 2. Options for the documentGo to Menu > Permissions and remove the "View" permission from the Guest/User/Power User roles..
The "View" permission setting can be adjusted for the root folder (all content under it) or for each content.
A feature request LPS-40798 has been created so that only the content of the site you belong to can be targeted.
