I cannot publish scheduled web content to Live from web content page

Issue

  • During staging a scheduled web content for future display is not published to Live from the web content page.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1 +

Resolution

  • In order to publish the scheduled content to local/remote Live from the web content page, you should perform the following before clicking Publish to Live:
    1. Go to Control Panel
    2.  Configuration
    3. System Settings
    4. Select Web Content
    5. Go to the left side and select "Web Content" under "VIRTUAL INSTANCE SCOPE"
    6. Scroll down to the bottom and find the option: "Single Asset Publication Includes Version History"
    7. Check the box beside it and save.
