Incorrect French translation of the site language change message

Issue

  • Steps to reproduce
    1. Go to Configuration > Site Settings > Languages and select `Define a custom default language and additional available languages for this site.` and set the French Language as the default one from the Default Language menu.
    2. Navigate to Home page and add `fr` this in URL: localhost:8080/fr/
    3. Now, a message appears in English at left bottom side, select the French language as your preferred language.
    4. Replace the /fr/ locale with /en/ locale in the URL.

    Actual Behavior: Following message appears, where French is not correct.
    Cette page est affichée dans anglais (Etats-Unis).
    Afficher la page à français (France).
    Set English (United States) as your preferred language.
    Expected Behavior: 
    Cette page est affichée en anglais (Etats-Unis).
    Afficher la page en français (France).
    Set English (United States) as your preferred language.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known issue/bug.
  • If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting hotfix by attaching patch details.
  • Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to install this hotfix in the respective environment.
