Issue

  1. Is connection to IdP-Systems supported? For example: connect by SSO with OAUTH/SAML?

  2. Is it possible to restrict access to the Liferay Analytics Cloud portal by IP address? So only users from our internal VPN could access Liferay Analytics Cloud’s portal.

  3. What steps have been taken to ensure that no brute-force attack can occur on the user account?

Environment

  • Analytics Cloud

Resolution

  1. Yes. This configuration is made on Liferay DXP. Analytics Cloud will identify users logged by those systems.
  2. No, this configuration is not supported.
  3. Analytics Cloud uses Okta as SSO. There are multiple measures to prevent brute-force attacks, such as Multi-factor Authentication, account locking, IP blocking, etc.
