Issue

  • When editing a page, on the side bar the browser icon is not visible, although the function works fine. This happens when a custom theme is applied.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4+
  • Liferay theme generator 10.2.1

Resolution

  1. In your theme_folder/src/images create two new folders: 'clay' and 'lexicon'.
  2. Place the icons.svg file in both created folders.(see as an attachment) Doing this will overwrite the related folders and files during the build process.
  3. Build your theme again and redeploy it to Liferay.
  4. Make sure you delete all cache/refresh the page.
