Issue
- The elasticsearch server cluster health status is red with the below error in the logs
elastic search logs and noticed the below information.
Failed to execute phase [query], all shards failed
Failed to execute phase [query], all shards failed
high disk watermark [90%] exceeded […] shards will be relocated away from this node
Resolution
-
The cluster's health status will go red when there is a disk space issue. If the above info is observed on the logs, this could indicate the server is running low on disk space. You need to get a larger disk or free up space.
