Issue

  • I am not able to use the collapsible option when creating a structure fieldset. I am connecting to Liferay via Citrix and the animations are disabled to save the CPU.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. On windows PC click Windows tab + R and type "SystemPropertiesPerformance" then click OK.
  2. On the popup uncheck the first option: "Animate Controls and elements inside windows", then click "Apply" then "OK"
  3. Set up DXP 7.4
  4. Go to Content & Data --> Web Content --> Structures and click "+" to create a new structure.
  5. On the right panel, select Fieldsets and click on "Create New Fieldset"
  6. Add a name and drag & drop a text field, then save it.
  7. Drag & drop the created fieldset from the sidebar to create a structure.
  8. On the Sidebar, enable the Collapsible option.
  9. Try to collapse and extend the fieldset by clicking the collapse icon.

Expected Result: The field should collapse and extend. See attached video illustration: Collapseissue.mp4

Actual Result: The field collapses but does not extend and it stops working.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • This is a known issue and has been fixed by LPS-177029 in Update 67. You can request a hotfix or upgrade to Update 67.
