Issue

  • I would like to know if it is possible to enable an incremental backup in my Cloud environment.
  • The main idea would be instead of the backup service copying all the data every time, it would be the possibility of the backup service copying only the changes made since the last backup, in order to save time and storage space compared to a full backup, which copies all data again.

Environment

  • Liferay PaaS

Resolution

  • Unfortunately, there is currently no setting that allows you to enable an incremental backup in the Cloud environment.

Additional Information

  • This case is already being considered at this Feature Request: LPD-896 - Voting for this request will increase its visibility.
