Issue
- When sending out mass email notifications or alerts from Liferay, we have a high bounce rate.
- There are many invalid emails in our list, but we cannot clean them up.
- What email validation tools can be implemented with Liferay?
Resolution
- There are several tools which verify email addresses before sending out the emails in order to avoid high bounce rates (for example: Zerobounce or Neverbounce, Bouncer).
- Liferay does not have an out of the box integration option for any of these tools.
- You can consider using the mentioned third party tools and they have different alternatives for implementing validation. Please refer to their documentation for more information.
- Liferay cannot make any specific recommendations or assist with the implementation, so please proceed at your own discretion.
