Issue
The favicon of the website is not visible in the Google search results. By default, the 'Globe' icon is displayed.
Resolution
- The icon is visible in the browser tab and also in other search engines like bing.com but not in Google search results.
- Specific guidelines must be followed that are defined by Google so that the icon is visible in Google search results.
- This issue is something that Liferay does not have control over the search engines which ultimately falls beyond our scope.
