Issue
The template form-field is not supported for Liferay 7.1 and above in Maven because the jsCompile configuration is deprecated in Maven.

Resolution

Because Liferay DXP is tool-agnostic, Maven is fully supported for Liferay DXP development. Read on for details about these topics.
