Issue
- Unable to minimize the CSS and Javascript using the minifier.enable portal property.
Resolution
- The minifier.enabled=false portal property is by default set to false. When setting it to true, it will minify at the runtime.
- Now, in Liferay DXP 7.4, this property is deprecated.
- The in-built JS and CSS resources are minimized by default. Instead of performing the minification of CSS and JS resources at runtime, prepared pre-minified resources at build time. There should be no user-visible changes in page styles or logic.
- The pre-minified resources at build time are more convenient, robust, and have better performance.
