Issue
- We have some custom developments that use
liferay-ddm
taglib. After an upgrade to 7.4+, that taglib does not work.
Resolution
- Starting in 7.4, Web Contents stopped using the DDM engine and its associated taglibs (
liferay-ddm:html
) to use the Data Engine and its corresponding new taglibs (liferay-data-engine:data-layout-renderer
).
- Therefore, you must adapt your custom developments.
- See liferay-data-engine.tld, liferay-data-engine.xml and DataLayoutRendererTag.java for details about this taglib.
- In addition, you can browse the source code to see how this taglib is being used and adapt it to your needs. For instance, check edit_article.jsp.
