Issue
- I browse to
Control Panel -> System Settings -> CONTENT
AND DATA -> Web Content -> SYSTEM SCOPE -> Administration
and uncheck 'Autogenerate Structure Key
' option.
- Then I create a new Web Content Structure and I fill the '
Structure
Key
' field with a custom value (i.e. 'ID0001').
- However, the new structure is listed with a different ID (i.e. '379274').
- Why is not it getting my custom value?
Resolution
- Unchecking '
Autogenerate Structure Key
' option allows to put a custom value in the 'Structure
Key
' field but this value is different from Structure 'ID
', which is still being internally autogenerated.
- '
Structure
Key
' is used as external value (can be customized, as 'ID0001') , i.e. in API calls, whereas 'ID
' is an internal database value (cannot be user-generated.) which is showed in structure list ('379274')
