Issue
- I browse to
Control Panel -> System Settings -> CONTENT
AND DATA -> Web Content -> SYSTEM SCOPE -> Administration and uncheck 'Autogenerate Structure Key' option.
- Then I create a new Web Content Structure and I fill the '
Structure
Key' field with a custom value (i.e. 'ID0001').
- However, the new structure is listed with a different ID (i.e. '379274').
- Why is not it getting my custom value?
Resolution
- Unchecking '
Autogenerate Structure Key' option allows to put a custom value in the 'Structure
Key' field but this value is different from Structure 'ID', which is still being internally autogenerated.

Structure
Key' is used as external value (can be customized, as 'ID0001') , i.e. in API calls, whereas 'ID' is an internal database value (cannot be user-generated.) which is showed in structure list ('379274')
