Issue

As an administrator of my portal, I would like the category names to be displayed in the URLs instead of the ID.
When using the Category Filter widget and an Asset Publisher on a content page, the URLs are displaying the category ID instead of the category name.
Currently, category vocabularies have a configuration called Friendly URL but this does not apply to the usage here. When configuring the Friendly URL, it generates a URL that, when accessed, directs me to a non-existent page with the 404 error
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.4 Quarterly Release 2024.q2.6
Resolution
- A feature has been implemented in 2024.q2.0 as a Beta feature which addresses this case. However, this will be released in the next release Q4 under Instance settings --> Feature Flags --> Release: Configurable URLs for Asset Types (LPD-11147)
