Currency Display Conflict When Reordering: Old and New Currencies Shown Together

Issue

  • Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Navigate to Control Panel> Site> click on the 'New' button and create a Minium site.
    2. Navigate to Control Panel> Accounts> Created an Account.
    3. Navigate to Minium Site> Catalog> add the product into the Cart and move ahead to place the order with USD($) currency.
    4. Now add the 'Chinese Yuan Renminbi' currency, after navigating to Control Panel> Accounts> Edit account> Channel Defaults> Currencies> add the 'Chinese Yuan Renminbi'.
    5. Navigate again to the Minium site> Placed Orders> click on the 'View' button> click on the 'Reorder' button to checkout the same order that was placed in the 3rd step.
    6. Now, during the checkout of the same placed product, there are the following options, where currency shows USD($) instead of CNY(¥), even after changing the Default Currency to CNY(¥).
    • Total
    • Delivery
    • Tax
    • Standard Delivery

    Observed Behavior: After changing the currency in the Account, the new Currency is visible with the old currency while reordering the placed order.
    Expected Behavior: After changing the currency in the Account, only the new Currency should be visible while reordering the placed order.

Environment

  • Quarterly Release 
  • Commerce 4.0

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known bug that has been addressed by: LPD-41952.
