Why cannot see Publications after upgrade?

Issue

  • After making the upgrade from Liferay 7.4 update-46 to Liferay 7.4 Quarterly Release Q2 2024 user cannot see the Publications.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

Consider to verify below points:

  • Add "/o/change-tracking-rest*" in Control Panel --> Configuration --> System Settings --> API Authentications and selecting "Portal Sessions" at URLs Includes.
  • All publications should be published before upgrading as part of our documented Preparing Publications. However, there are some cases where this may not be possible, e.g. upgrading to apply fixes to resolve publication issues.
  • Improvements LPD-31488 and LPD-32036 that could serve as possible Solutions.
