Issue
- How to remove the /web/ keyword from the site URL without creating a virtual host?
Resolution
- A feature request for an out-of-the-box method to remove the /web/keyword has been reviewed, and its progress can be followed here: LPD-41745.
- While that feature request is being considered, the user could utilize services like AKAMAI or Azure Front Door, which offer URL rewriting capabilities, allowing to remove the "web" segment.
