What started as a small business has grown into an organization with a global footprint. One of the biggest contributors to their success has been their early investment in digital commerce. With more than 500 employees and upwards of 300 million dollars in revenue, Clarity is ready for the next stage of its strategy—working with international distributors to expand their offering via a strong partner network.

Clarity Vision Solutions is an eyewear manufacturer that has experienced tremendous growth and success in a very short period of time.

Clarity Vision Solutions recently launched a new public website leveraging Liferay DXP's robust out-of-the-box capabilities and data models. However, following the success of their public website, multiple teams want to extend the platform and transform additional aspects of their business. To do this, they can leverage Liferay Objects as the basis for their apps.

The channel sales team wants to use the public website to attract and educate partners. Their current distributor solution is labor-intensive and costly, relying on manual methods for attracting, evaluating, and onboarding new partners. They need to create a user-friendly process that ensures valid data collection, while enabling them to maximize their efforts and reduce development costs. By leveraging Objects, Clarity can streamline and automate their partner management process.

Additionally, Clarity's support team needs a ticketing system to handle the increasing volume and complexity of support requests they receive from both customers and business partners. Currently, the support team lacks a centralized system, making it difficult to track requests, ensure timely responses, and maintain consistent service levels. By leveraging Liferay Objects, Clarity can create a centralized system to manage all support interactions.

  • One for handling support requests from customers and partners

Clarity's Distributor Management App

As explained, Clarity's channel sales team needs a custom app for receiving and approving distributor applications in a B2B context. To effectively evaluate the suitability of prospective partners, this app must collect all necessary data points, including information required for compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) best practices. Clarity also aims to implement a structured review workflow to assess applications efficiently and automate account creation for approved distributors, further reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.

Clarity's Ticketing App

Clarity's support team needs a ticketing system to efficiently track and manage support requests from both customers and business partners. Each ticket should progress through clearly defined workflows, ultimately reaching one of several possible resolutions. The system should automatically link tickets to specific accounts, assign tickets to the appropriate representatives, and send notifications to both the ticket creator and assignees throughout the ticket's lifecycle.
